Summer Is Here
Tuesday, 20 July 2010
Not long now..
Summer holidays. 6 weeks of freedom. For most this means holidays, beaches, swimming, out with friends, camping. But for those unfortunate people with homework, or the people making a transition from primary to high school, a worry. Its even worse for the year 6's now. Our school has introduced vertical tutoring- a "Revolution" to the school. Basically we are split from the people we have been with for years, and put into entirely new tutors with entirely new teachers. Is that going to help the new year 7's? I think not. Apparently, it will stop bullying, as around 4 people from each yeargroup are put into each tutor. Considering at the moment tutors are made up of around 20-30 people of the same age group, most of which are friends - only 4 from each year in each tutor is not going to reduce bullying. We did get to choose 3 friends though, but out of the three I chose I am only with one. Some people didn't get put with anyone they chose. Anyway, off of that subject.. Wednesday the 21st of July is our end of year trip to Brean Leisure Park. All of the other years go to Woodlands, but we rock so we go to Brean :) 2 DAYS TILL SUMMER HOLIDAYS! the weather may suck now but fingers crossed it will get better. If not them im gonna be doing a lot of stuff in the rain. Today we signed some ties and mine looks EPIC!

My RuneScape Story
I stared this story a while ago. I recently asked for the assistance of a good online friend of mine, named Ben who was assisting me with it. It's still a work in progress but im sure it will be good one it is finished.
There I was. Stood in the middle of an empty room. I could hear a faint noise in the distance, at least a mile away from where I was standing. I don’t know what brought me to do what I did next, but I did it. I did it without a thought. I went towards it.
It was a nice day in the city of Varrock. Not a cloud in the sky. I could barely hear my own thoughts through the noise of the people who came to meet with their friends, and those who came to the large city to purchase new items, and trade in old. I decided I would head to the town of Falador – maybe I would get a haircut, or a pint in the pub? It was there where I met one of my best friends, Ben. He was by the great Falador wall. I approached him, and asked him a favour. I needed some help for a project, and decided to ask him. He looked like the kind of friendly person you would get along with. Ever since we have got on well. We were like long lost brothers.
It was cold that day. The day it happened. I want to tell you what happened, and how - but it’s complicated. I want to tell you why I did what I did that day, but I am still unsure myself. Maybe I was just curious, maybe I wanted an adventure, or maybe I had no idea what was there. All I know is that I did it, I went towards it and maybe I don’t regret it, but we were lucky to escape with our lives.
We were in Relleka. Everything went quiet. Me and Ben were stood there, while everything seemed to freeze around us. Just as I was about to put it down to my imagination, something strange happened. A man appeared, wearing long, thick, black robes with a large dark hood. All we could see of him were his robes and his long scruffy grey beard. He took us to a place... and I knew it, I swear. He spoke in an old language – it went something like this “tu volo laboris simul proct unus procol evinco qui ea ante. Si tu dericio, tu libenter esse feicis ad evolo seceao tui vita.” Then, he vanished. Everything happened quickly then. Blink and you missed it. One second I was in the cold frozen town of Relleka, the next I was in a room. A empty room. There was nothing there, and I was alone. I guessed I would have to get out, but how? I had a bad feeling about this, a feeling of fear, but strangely I felt a bit overwrought.
The next thing I knew I was in a different place yet again. It was a long corridor, which seemed to go on forever. Its white walls were reflecting the light from the far side. In the distance I could make out a shadow. It looked like a shadow of a man, a rather short man – maybe a young boy? I figured he might be able to tell me where I was. I slowly made my way to where he was stood from where I was previously standing. As I got closer I could make out the light blond hair and the blue eyes shining at me. Almost instantly then, I could tell it was Ben. When I reached him he asked me the same thing I was about to ask him – What is going on? Once again, I was relocated. I was stood in the middle of an empty room. I could hear a faint noise in the distance, at least a mile away from where I was standing. I don’t know what brought me to do what I did next, but I did it. I did it without a thought. I went towards it.
As I got closer and closer to the hushed noise, it became boisterous. My fear began to overleap my curiosity. I halted in my stride, turned and ran. I did not know where I ran, but I ran, and I didn’t stop running. In front of me now was a large wooden door with metal studs. How it got there is unexplainable- one second there was nothing, and the next, a door. I languidly opened it. What I saw next shocked me, and excited me. Before me now I saw a colossal castle. It must have been about the size of 50 houses, or more.
We ran and ran for what seemed like a lifetime. After an epic duartion, we halted - blocking us from a futher lifetime-long run was an unexpected route. Danger was afoot. Infront of us now was an old crooked rope bridge, which hung in suspension over a deep, dark canyon. We saw a goblin scrounging around in the presense of the bridge. A few feet infront of us, we saw a pie and hastily grabbed it.
I threw the pie onto the old bridge, and without a single delay the goblin sprtinted towards it. The foolish goblin finished the pie in a flash, and in a burst of victory we jumped up and down in excitement. It was then that the goblin saw us. With a high pitched squeal, it charged towards us. Suddenly, both ends of the rope snapped and the goblin fell into the abyss. He fell into a never-ending hell of darkness, fire and evil creations. This all happend in an instant, and then, it appeared.

Norway 2010

Just looked back through previous blogs and realised i havent mentioned about our 2 weeks in norway..we went to the most epic place ever called pulpit rock. It took us about 2 hours to get to the top and it took a lot of energy and will power. Fortunatley for us, it was a nice day, but quite windy. The whole exchange was fun, and there were lots of awesome norwegian boys :) The norweigans are always eating, yet most are really skinny and they walk EVERYWHERE!! It was a great experience and I LOVE NORWAY! <3
