Summer 2010

SUMMER YAY!!!!
ERR... maybe the summer holidays arent always as fun as they should be. One minute your like "YEAH! im gonna do that in a bit." then when it gets to 'in a bit' you are like "meh stuff it i cant be arsed."  I've acquired a new thing to do though. Thats skype. Skype has saved my life (kinda) Now when I have nothing to do in the evenings, i just log onto skype. There are about 3 people that are my regular "skype crew" 2 are American, and one is English. Of course being from England myself, the American dudes sometimes struggle with my accent, as do I with theirs, but we are getting there. Anyways since i havent blogged for a while ima tell you about my summer holidays. The first proper thng i did was go to butlins with teh family. It was quite a fun week plus I got my piccy taken with George Sampson (that dancer guy from BGT) Anyway.. After butlins I went to my nans I think..Anyway that was for a few days. We saw the British fireworks championships (which were fairly good) then I came back home for a few days. I had like.. 2 days at home then I was shipped (not literaly) off to Redruth in Cornwall For what was the MOST EPIC horse riding holiday ever. The first day I rode a horse called Taz (see profile pic- at time of writing this). I guess he was ok, but then for the rest of the week I rode a beautiful horse named Stella. She was great on hacks but not so good in the school (indoors and out) But when i left i was so upset
Stella (left) and Taz (right)
:( Now im home.. and very tired (still) Going to my Nan and Grandad's house tomorrow until thursday, and then back to school on the 6th of September! i need to buy my new ties and all that yet..Thats how un-organised i am right now :L

Summer Is Here

The crew 09/10
Finaly the summer holidays! Our trip to Brean was the most epic thing ever.. although a lot of people puked but it was still pretty awesome. The last day of school rocked too. No work.. Lots of sweets and lots of goodbyes. Several people are leaving (wether that is good or not im unsure) but it is definatley a good thing that Luke Tooze is leaving right? Now we just hope that some awesome people move to our school. We need some more awesomes to outnumber the hated... Almost one week into the summer holidays now and most people are already bored.. I havent had one boring day but today could be that day. We are off to butlins on Friday which should be fun. i will leave you with a picture of the main people in "The Crew" of 09/10.

Not long now..

Summer holidays. 6 weeks of freedom. For most this means holidays, beaches, swimming, out with friends, camping. But for those unfortunate people with homework, or the people making a transition from primary to high school, a worry. Its even worse for the year 6's now. Our school has introduced vertical tutoring- a "Revolution" to the school. Basically we are split from the people we have been with for years, and put into entirely new tutors with entirely new teachers. Is that going to help the new year 7's? I think not. Apparently, it will stop bullying, as around 4 people from each yeargroup are put into each tutor. Considering at the moment tutors are made up of around 20-30 people of the same age group, most of which are friends - only 4 from each year in each tutor is not going to reduce bullying. We did get to choose 3 friends though, but out of the three I chose I am only with one. Some people didn't get put with anyone they chose. Anyway, off of that subject.. Wednesday the 21st of July is our end of year trip to Brean Leisure Park. All of the other years go to Woodlands, but we rock so we go to Brean :) 2 DAYS TILL SUMMER HOLIDAYS! the weather may suck now but fingers crossed it will get better. If not them im gonna be doing a lot of stuff in the rain. Today we signed some ties and mine looks EPIC!

My RuneScape Story

I stared this story a while ago. I recently asked for the assistance of a good online friend of mine, named Ben who was assisting me with it. It's still a work in progress but im sure it will be good one it is finished.

There I was. Stood in the middle of an empty room. I could hear a faint noise in the distance, at least a mile away from where I was standing. I don’t know what brought me to do what I did next, but I did it. I did it without a thought. I went towards it.

It was a nice day in the city of Varrock. Not a cloud in the sky. I could barely hear my own thoughts through the noise of the people who came to meet with their friends, and those who came to the large city to purchase new items, and trade in old. I decided I would head to the town of Falador – maybe I would get a haircut, or a pint in the pub? It was there where I met one of my best friends, Ben. He was by the great Falador wall. I approached him, and asked him a favour. I needed some help for a project, and decided to ask him. He looked like the kind of friendly person you would get along with. Ever since we have got on well. We were like long lost brothers.

It was cold that day. The day it happened. I want to tell you what happened, and how - but it’s complicated. I want to tell you why I did what I did that day, but I am still unsure myself. Maybe I was just curious, maybe I wanted an adventure, or maybe I had no idea what was there. All I know is that I did it, I went towards it and maybe I don’t regret it, but we were lucky to escape with our lives.

We were in Relleka. Everything went quiet. Me and Ben were stood there, while everything seemed to freeze around us. Just as I was about to put it down to my imagination, something strange happened. A man appeared, wearing long, thick, black robes with a large dark hood. All we could see of him were his robes and his long scruffy grey beard. He took us to a place... and I knew it, I swear. He spoke in an old language – it went something like this “tu volo laboris simul proct unus procol evinco qui ea ante. Si tu dericio, tu libenter esse feicis ad evolo seceao tui vita.” Then, he vanished. Everything happened quickly then. Blink and you missed it. One second I was in the cold frozen town of Relleka, the next I was in a room. A empty room. There was nothing there, and I was alone. I guessed I would have to get out, but how? I had a bad feeling about this, a feeling of fear, but strangely I felt a bit overwrought.

The next thing I knew I was in a different place yet again. It was a long corridor, which seemed to go on forever. Its white walls were reflecting the light from the far side. In the distance I could make out a shadow. It looked like a shadow of a man, a rather short man – maybe a young boy? I figured he might be able to tell me where I was. I slowly made my way to where he was stood from where I was previously standing. As I got closer I could make out the light blond hair and the blue eyes shining at me. Almost instantly then, I could tell it was Ben. When I reached him he asked me the same thing I was about to ask him – What is going on? Once again, I was relocated. I was stood in the middle of an empty room. I could hear a faint noise in the distance, at least a mile away from where I was standing. I don’t know what brought me to do what I did next, but I did it. I did it without a thought. I went towards it.

As I got closer and closer to the hushed noise, it became boisterous. My fear began to overleap my curiosity. I halted in my stride, turned and ran. I did not know where I ran, but I ran, and I didn’t stop running. In front of me now was a large wooden door with metal studs. How it got there is unexplainable- one second there was nothing, and the next, a door. I languidly opened it. What I saw next shocked me, and excited me. Before me now I saw a colossal castle. It must have been about the size of 50 houses, or more.

We ran and ran for what seemed like a lifetime. After an epic duartion, we halted - blocking us from a futher lifetime-long run was an unexpected route. Danger was afoot. Infront of us now was an old crooked rope bridge, which hung in suspension over a deep, dark canyon. We saw a goblin scrounging around in the presense of the bridge. A few feet infront of us, we saw a pie and hastily grabbed it.

I threw the pie onto the old bridge, and without a single delay the goblin sprtinted towards it. The foolish goblin finished the pie in a flash, and in a burst of victory we jumped up and down in excitement. It was then that the goblin saw us. With a high pitched squeal, it charged towards us. Suddenly, both ends of the rope snapped and the goblin fell into the abyss. He fell into a never-ending hell of darkness, fire and evil creations. This all happend in an instant, and then, it appeared.

Norway 2010

Just looked back through previous blogs and realised i havent mentioned about our 2 weeks in norway..we went to the most epic place ever called pulpit rock. It took us about 2 hours to get to the top and it took a lot of energy and will power. Fortunatley for us, it was a nice day, but quite windy. The whole exchange was fun, and there were lots of awesome norwegian boys :) The norweigans are always eating, yet most are really skinny and they walk EVERYWHERE!! It was a great experience and I LOVE NORWAY! <3

Dead or Alive?

Are we really alive? ar are we dead.. are we dreaming? are we in a game, or part of a reality tv show? For ages now i have been thinking about life. One day we could just wake up, and everything could be a dream.

Easter is around the corner

Finally the easter holidays are coming up! It's about time we had 2 weeks off from school. I'm looking forward to nice long sleeps and late nights. I'll have to arrange to meet up with my mates else i'll be bored as hell.. Maybe a few cinema days. That would be fun. The best part of my life was school untill I found that person who lives on our street that goes to my school. Now home and school are equally as good :P But school is where i meet all my old mates and stuff like that.

Sunday 7th Feburary 2010

Tiring day today. Went to taunton for lunch and did a bit of shopping. School days have more happening then weekends it seems.. Oh well..

"Thought Of The Day"
No two days can ever be the same.

Why? Because something has to be different every day. The clouds, the amount of leaves on every tree, the amount of people in the world, your hair, your breath, your love. Nothing is ever the same. It is almost impossible :-)

Saturday 6th Feburary 2010

Friday 5th Feburary 2010

Wow... Friday already. Weeks seem to be flying by. You know what they say - Time flys when you are having fun... I must be having fun. If it wasnt for my friends i would have no fun.. I wish i could name you all but you and I both would be here forever.. the list is endless, and grows every day. Anyway... Today was boring, as usual. A usual school day. Mornings are the best parts.. thats when I meet with a few of my mates. We could chat for hours on end.. Had dentist today :s aparrently i have to have some ( more!) fillings... then in a few weeks i gotta have 2 teeth removed so I can have braces on my top teeth. My 2 biggest fears are injections and rejection.. I've been through them both.. Not very nice. I guess I better find a quote to do with something i've written here.. I have learnt something about myself recently - I use the Elipsis (...) a lot. Oh well. Better then endless sentences.

"The only reward of virtue is virtue; the only way to have a friend is to be one."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Its quite silly really.. but oh well.. if it makes me happy, but if i dont get the answer i want, what will happen then? I guess i'll have to live with it.

" I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all." - Alfred Tennyson.

What is reality?

Is what we see really real.. or is it just a dream? Is it possible to know what is real, and what isnt? Are we the superior life forms, or are we being controlled by some greater being/beings? Are our actions our own or are they decided by other people? Do we all see the same things, is everything the same in everyones eyes..or is it different to everyone? The definition for reality is: All of your experiences that determine how things appear to you. but is this really what reality is? Are you really sure that a floor can't also be a ceiling?

What do you think?

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. ~Philip K. Dick

Wednesday 3rd Feburary 2010

Quiet day today. 6:30 am start, leaving for school at 7:45. Slow and quiet walk to school. wind and rain blowing in my face as i walked. When i got to school i was suprised to see one of my friends already there, as i was a tad earlier then normal, and i'm usually the first to arrive - out of the people i know anyway. The first 2 lessons dragged by.. English and maths. Two of my least favourite lessons. after break it was plain sailing.. the day flew by, and here i am now.

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience by which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."
-Eleanor Roosevelt
